Thrifted Sunsets was one of those days that reminded us why we keep doing this.
We had an amazing turnout, good weather, and even though the sunset didn’t quite show up the way we wanted, the energy definitely did.
We moved around to a few different locations throughout the day, including a rooftop garage with an incredible skyline view, and everywhere we went people were creating, collaborating, helping each other out and just enjoying the moment.
But one of my favorite parts happened after the cameras went away.
A bunch of us got together for our post meet up, Off The Record. No phones. No cameras. Just food, conversation, laughs and a chance to actually be present with each other in real life.
Every Philly Create event has its own personality, but Thrifted Sunsets really felt like community. It wasn’t just about getting the shot. It was about everybody working together, meeting new people and creating with good energy.
Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the last meet up of the summer special.
And a huge thank you to Sony and Unique Photo for sponsoring Thrifted Sunsets and continuing to support the creative community.
Until the next one. 🧡

Such a great event! Had a wonderful time. Almost didn’t come that day, but so glad I did! Some of my favorite photos so far.
